WORKSHOP | Creative Rhizomatic Mapping for Designers

Working on a complex design project? Feeling surrounded by rich research materials, visual references, sketches, and ideas that want to connect – but don’t yet form a clear shape?

This hands-on workshop is open to designers across all disciplines engaged in multi-layered creative projects. Rhizomatic mapping offers a powerful, non-linear way to structure design research data, synthesize visual and textual materials, and generate innovative design concepts.

The workshop consists of two complementary sessions: Session 1: Design Research, Analysis & Ideation

We will introduce the core principles of rhizomatic mapping, analyze design examples, and start building your individual map using your own project materials – visual references, notes, sketches, and fragments of thought. Session 2: Communication, Collaboration & Presentation

Learn how to transform your rhizomatic map into an active communication tool for syncing with co-designers and presenting complex creative concepts to clients or stakeholders. 👥 Capacity: Intimate group of 4–6 participants
