About the event
Great design starts from a good question, but how do you find it inside a pile of research, references, and half-formed ideas?
Rhizomatic Mapping is a non-linear method for laying out everything your project holds - materials, references, thoughts, fragments - on a single map, then tracing the connections to see what your work is really about.
In this lecture, I'll walk through real examples of complex design research mapped this way, and show how a strong, specific research question emerges from the map rather than being forced onto it.
You'll leave understanding how the method works - and able to start mapping your own project to find your question.
