About the event
Working on a thesis in philosophy or the social sciences, and struggling to hold the whole thing in view?
This lecture is about giving sprawling, abstract research a navigable shape.
Rhizomatic Mapping is a non-linear method for laying out everything your research holds – texts, concepts, arguments, tensions – on a single map, then tracing the connections to find your through-line.
I'll walk through the rhizomatic map of my own PhD research on originality, showing how mapping made a dense, many-threaded project possible to organize, navigate, and argue.
You'll leave understanding how the method works and able to start mapping your own research to find its structure.
